I am an Indian Forest Service Officer of 2011 batch, from Rajasthan cadre. I have served in different parts of Rajasthan including Thar Desert (Bikaner) and Alwar (Territorial areas of Arravalli Hills as well as Sariska Tiger reserve) as Deputy Conservator of Forest. While working in Forest Headquarter, I served as Deputy Conservator of Forest (Plan-WL) and handled State level Finance and management of Wildlife Areas. During my tenure in State Secretariat; , I have worked as Joint Secretary Forest & Environment; Member Secretary, State Wetland Authority and Director, Directorate of Environment & Climate Change.
I pursued my academics as student of Biochemistry and obtained Masters in Biochemistry from Calcutta University & later on did Doctoral work in Plant Biotechnology (Phytoremediation through molecular genomics). I also did my WL Diploma in WII in 35th diploma batch of 2013-14 as Hari Singh Fellow.
My interests are in Wildlife genomics, management of PAs (specially buffer area conservation measures) and policy formulation vis-à-vis conservation rules & laws.
