I have been involved in ecological studies on high altitude insect diversity and identifying insect indicators for biodiversity monitoring. My research interests include the systematics and diversity of the entomofauna, arachnids and ecological monitoring in the Himalayan region.

Specialization

Ecology and systematics of insects; bioindicators; biodiversity surveys; ecological monitoring in protected areas.

Current Projects

Diversity of Moths (Lepidoptera:Heterocera) Assemblage and their Potential role as Conservation tool in Different Protected areas of Uttarakhand.
Assessment of pollinators in different agro ecosystem and forest types around Dehradun.
Ecology conservation and status of House sparrow in Uttarakhand
