About
Dr. Gupta’s group is working on forensics, conservation and evolutionary genetics. His research interest is on basic and applied research for the conservation of rare and endangered species, and strengthening the wildlife forensics capability in India. He is also leading the teaching modules on wildlife forensics, control of illegal wildlife trade, conservation and evolutionary genetics.
